Spelling & Vocabulary Home Page

We just launched a NEW BigIQkids Log In page which added a few new features.  Users now get a personalized Home Page to their spelling+vocabulary program.  The home page makes account maintenance easier and helpful naviagtion for students.  Additionally, teachers and parents can leave messages for their students and additional resource links.
Check out your new home page which you can access from the BigIQkids Log In page.  Let us know what you think.  We’re working on revamping our reports which will be coming soon!

Good morning BigIQ teachers, moms and dads!  I’m redoing our social media presence.  We had over 2 million comments of nonsense with non-users cluttering up our blog which I deleted all and starting over.  I’m now getting on daily and answering questions and providing info.

The kids are home today for teacher conference day…WHAT???!!!! Can’t the kids be invited to the conference since it is about them, right?!  I guess the school doesn’t feel the way I do, so my pumpkins are home and driving me crazy!!!!  Since telling them they lose 15 minutes of their life for every hour they watch TV, they’re in my office wanting to hang.  Watch what you say, it typically comes back.  I told them I’ll give them a worksheet if they keep bothering me which should give me an hour or two to get some work done.  If you need some time just have a pile of worksheets on your desk, it’s a trick I’ve been using since 1^st grade!  IT WORKS!

Some exciting new additions coming soon.  We did a SOFT launch of our sister site “AutismPower.com”.  We have the best therapist in the country “Jackie Tanaka” as our subject matter expert who is a certified ABA therapist and committed to helping the autism community with learning tools online.  For families with special needs children, you’ll love her and the Autism Power tools! You can chat directly with Jackie on Facebook.  I’ve had the opportunity to work with her a lot while developing the new site and she’s nothing short of amazing, passionate and great at what she does.  Her personal story is inspiring to all. As she has an autistic child who has flourished into a high achieving and adorable young man.  Check out AutismPower as well.  We’re adding new lessons every month.
